A fun illustration of the phrase "raining cats and dogs". A collie, basenji, Siamese cat, pointer, dachshund, and other breeds fall from the clouds to become "poodles"! The eyes of the animals peep from the clouds. Even dog bones and balls of yarn rain down.
I grew up in the country in the "thumb" area of Michigan. The plants and animals of the nature that surrounded me every day have been featured in my art ever since I was a very young child, and they continue to have a major presence in my work even today. I enjoy working in so many artistic media, but drawing, painting, and photography are my true passions. I attended the University of Michigan School of Art & Design where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts.

I love this happy drawing!
Michelle Miron
David, don't worry! In the cycle of precipitation, the animals become "poodles", but they evaporate up into the clouds on a sunny day to live happily once again! The description of this illustration appears on the right-hand side of the full product page, but the description does not appear on the back of the actual greeting card. Only the artist name and the name of the artwork appears on the back of the card.

Those poor animals. Is there a description on the back of the cards?
