Very very nice work, F/L!

Thank you very much, Alessandro!

Artist's Description

I imagine that this smooth collie was a show dog for a few years, always being encouraged to behave and stay clean. He and his family had fun showing, but after a while his family decided that it was time for him to just relax and be a normal dog after those years of hard work. This painting shows the first day that he was let loose to run, jump, play, and get as dirty as he possibly could! Since he is a collie, he has a tendency to herd, and he does just that to white-fronted geese that he spots wading at the shallow edge of a Scottish lake. He splashes along behind them playfully as the geese begin to take flight.

About Michelle Miron-Rebbe

Michelle Miron-Rebbe

I grew up in the country in the "thumb" area of Michigan. The plants and animals of the nature that surrounded me every day have been featured in my art ever since I was a very young child, and they continue to have a major presence in my work even today. I enjoy working in so many artistic media, but drawing, painting, and photography are my true passions. I attended the University of Michigan School of Art & Design where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts.
